.
TYPES OF WORKS

.
PROJECT SUBMISSIONS
The instructions and requirements for sending projects can be found on the Festival website in the Awards section. The closing date for submitting photographs is July 10th 2011.
.
THE FINALISTS
From all the projects submitted, the jury will select six finalists who must be present in Lleida on October 28th 2011 to participate in the public viewing that will take place during the “Nice to Meet You” gathering of the Emergent-Lleida Festival.
.
THE PUBLIC VIEWING
During the viewing the different finalist projects will be projected and the authors must explain to the jury and the public the concept of the works and the personal and creative motives that led to their production, striving to make the oral presentation as enriching as possible for the audience. The members of the jury will be able to intervene, ask questions, make suggestions and express opinions about the projects presented, with a clear pedagogic and didactic objective so as to contribute to the establishment of criteria regarding artistic creation.
Prior to the public viewing, each finalist will meet in private with the members of the jury, show them her or his portfolio of prints and answer the questions the judges may ask them for the purpose of gaining greater knowledge and understanding of each project. Thus, the finalist artists must take the photographs printed in the format they deem appropriate, although we recommend that the prints be no larger than 40×50 cm.
.
THE PRIZE
Alter listening to each of the six finalists in the public viewing, the jury will choose a single winner who will be given a cash prize of €2,000 subject to current tax laws.
The award-winning artist will be announced at the festival closure ceremony, which will also be held on October 28th, in the conference room of the Llotia de Lleida.
.
THE MEMBERS OF THE JURY
The jury will consist of outstanding professionals and artists from the art world.
.
FINAL CONSIDERATIONS
The artist will authorize EMERGENT and the Sorigué Foundation to reproduce the artworks in any medium with the single objective of promoting and publicizing the festival and the award. The author will have the permission necessary for publicly exhibiting her or his work, releasing the organization from any responsibility. The festival will have the authority to solve and decide any aspect not foreseen in the terms and conditions.
