O Prémio Hannah Arendt para a Teoria Crítica e a Pesquisa Criativa é uma competição anual, aberta a todos os interessados na junção entre arte e pesquisa criativa e nos princípios centrais das artes e das humanidades, a saber, uma inteligência sensitiva, a realidade dos fenómenos singulares e únicos, uma visão ética; e a consiliência entre interior e exterior, natureza e razão, pensamento e experiência, sujeito e objecto, o ser e o mundo. The Hannah Arendt Prize in Critical Theory and Creative Research is an annual competition for anyone interested in the juncture of art and creative research and in the principles at the heart of the arts and humanities, including sense-based intelligence; the reality of singular, nonrepeatable phenomena; ethical vision; and consilience between inner and outer, nature and reason, thought and experience, subject and object, self and world. This prize is open to the public. Semapa, uma empresa de desenvolvimento urbano, localizada na área da Paris Rive Gauche, no 13º Arrondissement, abriu um concurso internacional para projectos artísticos. Todas as formas artísticas são aceites. A obra de arte ficará localizada perto da Biblioteca Nacional François Mitterrand, num local público actualmente em construção. O projecto deve ter em conta as especificidades do local e contribuir para o crescimento desta área urbana em desenvolvimento. Prazo para candidaturas: 5 Março 2012. Mais informação aqui.

Semapa, an urban development company, of the Paris Rive Gauche area, in Paris’ 13th arrondissement, is calling for art projects from international applicants. Open to all forms of creation, the work of art will be located nearby the François Mitterrand National Library, on a public site currently under construction. The project should draw on the specificities of its surroundings and contribute to both the attractiveness and the centrality of this blooming urban area. Deadline for submissions: March 5th 2012.
