O terceiro evento público do workshop contou com a presença do artista Xana, que veio de Lagos para nos falar das suas intervenções no espaço público, seguindo-se um “mini pub-quiz” pela artista residente Yara El Sherbini e a “House Party” com a DJ Susana Guardado (também ela artista residente no HOME & ABROAD).

The third public event of the workshop had the artist Xana with us. He came from Lagos to present us his interventions in the public space. That talk was followed by a “mini pub-quiz” by the resident artist Yara El-Sherbini and the “House Party” with DJ Susana Guardado (also resident artist at HOME & ABROAD).

Em residência há cerca de uma semana, os artistas que participam no HOME & ABROAD têm continuado a partilha da sua obra (métodos de trabalho, principais interesses, estratégias criativas, etc) através de apresentações que se tornam o ponto de partida para falarmos de arte. A fechar a primeira semana deste workshop na 6f, dia 29 de Outubro, tivemos as intervenções de Alex da Silva (Angola/Cabo Verde), Rémi Bragard (França) e Rachel Korman (Brasil/Portugal), tendo por nosso convidado Fabrice Ziegler.

Being in residency for almost a week, the artists that take part of HOME & ABROAD are sharing their work (methodologies, main interests, creatives strategies, etc) through presentations that become de starting point to speak about art. Closing the first week of this workshop we had the presentations by Alex da Silva (Angola/Cape Vert), Rémi Bragard (France) and Rachel Korman (Brazil/Portugal), having Fabrice Ziegler as our guest.

As apresentações dos artistas residentes seguiram no Monte dos Ciprestes e no dia 28 de Outubro foi a vez das intervenções de Gayle Chong Kwan (Escócia/China/Ilhas Maurícias), Binu Bashkar (India/Austrália/Emirados Árabes Unidos) e Cristina Ataíde (Portugal), tendo por nosso convidado António Pinto Ribeiro.

The presentations by the residents artists continued to take place at Monte dos Ciprestes and on the 28th October we had the interventions by Gayle Chong Kwan (Scotland/China/Mauritius), Binu Bashkar (India/Australia/United Arab Emirates) and Cristina Ataíde (Portugal), having António Pinto Ribeiro as our guest.
