A Xerem esteve em Marselha a participar no Forum Anna Lindh Mediterranean 2013 representada por Jorge Rocha.

Este Fórum reúne de três em três anos cerca de 1000 pessoas da sociedade civil, representantes de organizações que integram as diversas redes nacionais criadas nos diversos países ligados ao diálogo mediterrânico que a Fundação Anna Lindh vem desenvolvendo.

A Xerem integra a rede portuguesa da Anna Lindh e marcou presença em Marselha onde se debateram assuntos relacionados com Cultura e Criatividade; Educação e Ensino Intercultural; Espaços Urbanos e Cidadania; Media e Percepção; Mulheres; Juventude; Desenvolvimento; Diversidade; Democracia e Sociedade Civil.

No âmbito do debate surgiram diversas recomendações que vão agora ser reunidas e entregues às diversas organizações políticas, com o objetivo de provocar mudanças estratégicas. Entre os diversos assuntos discutidos, está a necessidade de criar programas de mobilidade de artistas no espaço euro-mediterrânico.

Xerem was in Marseille in the Anna Lindh Forum Mediterranean 2013 represented by Jorge Rocha.

Every 3 years, this forum bring together about 1,000 people from civil society, representatives of organizations that integrate the various national networks established in different countries linked to the Mediterranean dialogue that Anna Lindh Foundation has been developing.

Xerem integrates the Portuguese network of Anna Lindh and was present in Marseille, where was discussed issues related to Culture and Creativity, Education and Intercultural Learning, Urban Spaces and Citizenship, Media and Perception, Women, Youth, Development, Diversity, Democracy and Civil Society .

Within the debate several recommendations arose, which will now be collected and delivered to various political organizations, aiming to provoke strategic changes.

Among many discussed issues, are the need of creating programs to stimulate artist mobility in the euro-mediterranean.

A Xerem estará em Marselha, representada por Jorge Rocha, que irá participar no Forum Mediterrâneo Anna Lindh 2013 que acontece entre o dia 4 e 7 de Abril.

O Forum Mediterrâneo Anna Lindh 2013 é um encontro único que reúne jovens líderes e organizações da sociedade civil, além de influentes políticos e especialistas interculturais de toda a região euro-mediterrânica. Convocada a cada três anos pela Fundação Anna Lindh, o objetivo é proporcionar um espaço inovador e participativo para o debate, trabalho em rede e intercâmbio de boas práticas em iniciativas de diálogo intercultural. O fórum acolherá perspectivas únicas, e a participação de pessoas de diversas origens, culturas e crenças que podem transformar novas idéias em ação na sequência do fórum.

Como uma organização de artistas independente, acreditamos no trabalho em rede e estamos interessados em desenvolver conexões com os países do Mediterrâneo, incluindo o norte de África, para nos conectarmos com parceiros locais, desenvolver projetos e pensar / trabalhar juntos.
Sentimos que em rede com a ALF, seremos capazes de construir novas oportunidades para os artistas portugueses entre os países vizinhos e culturas em que nossa atividade poderá propor o diálogo e intercâmbio de novas idéias e parcerias.

Xerem will be in Marseille, represented by Jorge Rocha that will be participating in the Anna Lindh Mediterranean Forum 2013 that takes place from 4 to 7 April.

The Anna Lindh Mediterranean Forum is a unique gathering that brings together youth leaders and civil society organisations, in addition to influential policy-makers and intercultural experts from across the Euro-Mediterranean region. Convoked every three years by the Anna Lindh Foundation, the goal is to provide an innovative and participative space for debate, networking and good practice exchange on intercultural dialogue initiatives. The Forum welcome unique perspectives, and the participation of people from diverse origins, cultures and beliefs who can turn new ideas into action following the Forum.

As an independent artists organization we believe in Networking and we are interested in connections with countries of the Mediterranean, including North Africa to connect with local partners, develop projects and think/work together.
We feel that by networking with ALF we will be able to build new opportunities for Portuguese artists among neighbouring countries and cultures in which our activity can propose dialogue and interchange of fresh ideas and partnerships.

A Xerem é agora membro da rede Anna Lindh.Xerem is now part of the Anna Lindh network.

A Anna Lindh é uma fundação que tem por objetivo juntar pessoas de toda a região do Mediterrâneo, para promover o respeito mútuo entre culturas, tendo criado uma rede que tem hoje mais de 3.000 organizações da sociedade civil.

Atualmente com sede em Alexandria, no Egipto, a Anna Lindh foi criada em 2005 pelos governos da parceria Euro-Mediterrânica (Euromed), num acordo político estabelecido em 1995 entre a União Europeia e a Argélia, Marrocos, Tunísia, Egipto, Jordânia, Líbano, Palestina, Israel, Síria e Turquia.

A atribuição do seu nome, homenageia Anna Lindh, a ministra dos Negócios Estrangeiros Sueca que foi assassinada em 2003, tendo o nome sido proposto pelo Egipto numa reunião que decorreu a 25 de Setembro de 2003.

A Xerem é uma organização independente que acredita no trabalho em rede e vê esta integração na rede ALF como um caminho para a construção de novas oportunidades, proporcionando criar iniciativas com outros parceiros, nomeadamente do mediterrâneo, desenvolvendo atividades que possam propor o diálogo, intercâmbio e a mobilidade de artistas dentro desse espaço geográfico e cultural.

The goal of Anna Lindh Foundation is to bring people together from across the Mediterranean to improve mutual respect between cultures and it has created a network that today has more than 3.000 civil society organizations.

Currently based in Egypt (headquarters are in Alexandria), Anna Lindh Foundation was set up in 2005 by the governments of the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership (Euromed), a political agreement made in 1995 between the European Union and Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Israel, Syria and Turkey.
It is named in honour of Anna Lindh, the Swedish Foreign Minister who was murdered in 2003. The name was put forward by Egypt at a meeting held at the 25th of September 2003.
Xerem is an independent organization who believe in networking and sees this integration in the ALF as a way to build new opportunities, providing the creation of initiatives with partners, including the Mediterranean, developing activities that can propose dialogue, exchange and mobility of artists inside that cultural geography.
