O workshop internacional é um projecto desenvolvido pela XEREM em parceria com a rede internacional Triangle Network (TN). O workshop teve como intuito criar um espaço onde os artistas pudessem experimentar novas ideias e serem inspirados e desafiados por novos processos criativos. O workshop pretendeu facilitar o trabalho em rede entre os artistas, apoiar a produção experimental de novos trabalhos e promover a troca cultural com a disseminação de ideias e de conexões criativas com o público.
O workshop seguiu o modelo da rede TN, que consiste em reunir um grupo de cerca de 20 artistas locais e internacionais para trabalharem em conjunto e desenvolverem intercâmbios artísticos durante duas semanas. Aos artistas foi proporcionada a oportunidade de trocar ideias e trabalhar em colaboração, tendo sido também desenvolvido um programa de apresentações dos artistas, e eventos transversais que culminaram num “Open Day” (Dia Aberto).

The International Artists workshop is a project developed by Xerem in partnership with Triangle Network (TN). The workshop aims to create a space where artists can experience and experiment with new ideas, and be inspired and challenged by each other’s creative processes. The workshop facilitates networking among artists, supports the experimental production of new work and promotes cultural exchange through the dissemination of ideas and creative connections with the public.
The workshop follows the model of the TN and consists of bringing together a group of 20 local and international artists to work together for a period of approximately two weeks. To artists we provide the opportunity to exchange ideas and work collaboratively and is also developed a program of artists presentations, events that culminate with the Open Day.
